Christ the King and Sacred Choral Music

Dear Friends of Carmel Books,

We are extremely pleased to announce that Carmel Books now has for sale a two-DVD set of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre celebrating, we think, his last publicly recorded Mass. In fact, as far as we know, it is the last public visual record of the saintly Archbishop before he went to his eternal reward.

This magnificent High Mass was recorded in the Church of St. Nicolas du Chardonnet in Paris on the Feast of Christ the King, Sunday 28th October, 1990.

The two-DVD set contains Archbishop’s Lefebvre’s striking sermon with added English subtitles, and at the end of the DVD are found six photo galleries celebrating the Archbishop’s heroic life.

The two discs featuring Holy Mass and sermon run to a total of 1 hour and 35 minutes.

Apart from its immense historical and inspirational value this DVD is an ideal spiritual aid for poor souls in this age of desolation who, for geographical or other reasons, are unable to regularly attend the True Sacrifice.

This one-and-a-half hour two-disc DVD retails at £16.95 plus p&p.

We are also very pleased to inform you of the availability of a wonderful audio CD of Sacred Choral Music composed by the traditional Catholic composer Nicholas Wilton, and sung by the widely-acclaimed choir Magnificat.

Sacred Choral Music by Nicholas Wilton consists of 14 motets inspired by the sacred music of the 16th century Catholic masters.

Reviewing this CD, the internationally acclaimed Irish flute player Sir James Galway wrote that:

“This is one of my favourite CD’s. Masterfully written, beautifully sung. It brings me closer to God. I have given it as a gift to many of my friends.”

This first-class CD retails at £9.95 plus p&p
